Summer Music Festival & Family Fun Day #Balfest23 - Saturday 15th July

We we thrilled to host our Summer Music Festival & Family Fun Day #Balfest23 on Saturday 15th July.

However, the poor weather brought us inside. Despite this, the event was a great success and was the first time that we had tried organising a music festival.

We had a whole range of performances from our wonderfully talented students - Rosie H, Felix T, the cast of Matilda JR., Chamber Choir, Those Four Band and our Musical Theatre, Ukulele group along with our fabulous special guests:

• The Lancashire Wallopers

In addition we were delighted to welcome back the North West Reptile Association and their collection of exotic pets who are always very popular and amazing as ever!

There were various stalls and plenty of food from pizzas to ice cream from Robinsons.

A huge thank you to everyone who come along to support our event in any way. The total amount raised hasn't been finalised yet but we will share that as soon as possible in September.

Balshaw's PTA (Parent Teacher Association) meet on the first Wednesday of every month and this year have put on a whole range of events from Bingo, a family Quiz Night to a Night at the Races and culminated at the end of the year with #Balfest23. We had planned an outside stage from a lorry with full sound stage. You can read more here.
