Once again we have lots of exciting fun activities, attractions and stalls for our Spring Fair and Family Fun Day on Saturday 12th May from 11am to 3pm.

They include exciting giant inflatables from Ice Adventure, incredible birds from Horus Birds of Prey, amazing reptiles from North West Reptiles, live music featuring our own very talented students, exciting go karts, fun pillow fights, skittles and coconut shy, win a prize every time with 'Hook a Duck', Leyland RAF and RSPB representatives, Porsche cars from the Porsche Enthusiasts Club, local Fire Engine and Fire Fighters, our very own Great Balshaw's Bake Off competition (see the image below for details), dance displays from our very own dance team, The Leyland Morris Men and the Lancashire Wallopers, a range of wonderful stalls - handmade crafts by Nicki, cakes, soft toys, chocolate, gift and bottle tombolas, sporting activities - 'beat the goalie' and cricket, lots of wonderful food including burgers, pizza, hotdogs, delicious crepes from Daisy Catering, My Healthy Drinks and much more!

Entry is only £1 per person and your ticket will also enter you into the raffle draw for a range of amazing prizes including a large smart TV! Tickets can be bought in advance from school or on the day.

There will be a non-uniform day on Friday 11th May for students. To qualify for this students have to buy at least one entry/raffle ticket for £1 and they also need to bring at least one of the following items:

  • Bottles for the drinks tombola (wine, spirits, beers etc.)
  • Chocolate bars/sweets for the chocolate tombola
  • Good prizes for the main tombola
  • Used console games (Xbox, Playstation etc.)
  • New or used books in excellent condition
  • Toys/stationery/plants

Students can bring in their money and buy tickets from their Tutors. Remember to bring tickets on the day as they are entry to the event and the fabulous raffle! The final day to buy tickets and bring items to qualify for the non-uniform day will be Thursday 10th May.

We are also looking for good quality books and soft toys to sell on the day - so if you are having a little 'Spring Clean' your donations will be greatly appreciated.

All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you all on the day!
